To go from Copacabana to Corcovado, get tickets at the Lido Square, which is fenced and gated on the boardwalk. The access gates are on the side streets. See region.
The route is 15km and takes about 55 minutes with good traffic. During rush hours can take up to almost 2 hours.
If you are staying in Copacabana, the van stop is just minutes from the beach.
If you are staying close to a Subway station it’s best to go to the one at the Largo do Machado and depart from there.
