Hiking the Morro da Urca is very fun, but before the climb, it’s worth a walk on Praia Vermelha (Red Beach _ see region) which is just across the square of the cable car station. On the left from the beach promenade, facing the sea, there is an entrance to the Claudio Coutinho trail (see region) which is a path surrounding the hills of Urca and Sugar Loaf.
